Split PDF

Split one PDF into multiple files and download them as a ZIP.

Upload a PDF and choose how to divide it: one file per page, fixed-size chunks, or custom page ranges. The result is a ZIP archive with the new PDF files.

Split modes

  • Every page — one PDF per page
  • Fixed size — chunks of N pages each
  • Custom ranges — specify ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8-10

Limits

  • One PDF up to 20 MB
  • Encrypted PDFs must be unlocked first
  • Digital signatures become invalid after rebuild; page numbers in ranges are 1-based

Files are stored temporarily for processing, then removed.

Security and privacy

  • Encryption at rest

Files are encrypted during storage with AES-256-GCM using a unique key per file

  • Auto-deletion

Uploaded and processed files are removed after the session ends

  • Temporary sessions

Processing sessions expire automatically and are not kept as a permanent archive

  • Protected download links

Downloads require a short-lived access token — not a public permanent URL

FAQ

Split creates multiple PDF files. They are packed into one ZIP so you can download everything in a single step.

Yes. Files are transferred over a secure connection, encrypted while stored on the server, and automatically deleted. Flimpa does not store documents permanently and does not use them to train models.
