Unlock vs remove password

  • Unlock — often enough when only owner restrictions apply (empty user password)
  • Remove password — always asks for the current open password before decrypting

Limits

  • One PDF up to 10 MB
  • Unknown passwords are not guessed or recovered
  • Use only on documents you are allowed to unlock

Yes. Files are transferred over a secure connection, encrypted while stored on the server, and automatically deleted. Flimpa does not store documents permanently and does not use them to train models.
